Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, Coach P brings new energy to the Central Valley. Coach P is a 3-time NBA All-star selection coach, coaching more than 13,000 kids at each all-star event. Certified as a Corrective Exercise and Performance Enhancement specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, Coach P is also in his 3rd year in the doctorate program, completing a Health and Human Performance degree. Coach P has played at the highest level and works for the Sacramento Kings JRKINGS. He has also worked for the Chicago Bulls (6 seasons) and Golden State Warriors (2022 Championship Season). Coach lead the Lathrop High School Frosh team to the second-best record in the league, 11-3. while also assisting Coach Rob with the varsity boys to a school-best 13-1 record, winning the Western Athletic Conference (WAC). In his second year at LHS, he led the Frosh team to the school's first-ever league championship going 13-1 and giving the basketball powerhouse in Mountain House their first loss since 2018.
Born and raised in Stockton, California, Coach Rob has accumulated nearly a decade’s worth of coaching experience. What started as community service at local gyms for Stockton’s Youth and Recreational leagues, quickly evolved into a passion to help others. In his first year as varsity coach, Coach Rob was named Coach of the Year in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC) after leading Lathrop High School's boys basketball team to its best record in school history (13-1). Before Lathrop High School, Coach Rob helped Stockton Christian Academy attain its best record in school history and a Section Championship berth, in his first year as a varsity assistant coach. Coach Rob has led multiple AAU teams throughout the Central Valley and continues to invest in local youth sports. In the future, Coach Rob aspires to coach at the collegiate level.
Coach Jacob, aka Jsav, plays out of Stockton, California, and is one of the best point guards out of the Sac-Joaquin Section. Only a junior in high school, Coach Jacob is the starting point guard at Venture Academy and is the current leader in total assists in the Sac-Joaquin section. Coach Jacob hopes to continue his journey to the next level. Jacob is one of Coach P's top players for his All Fil-Am Travel Team (Central Valley Grind). Coach Jacob wants to continue helping other players pursue their dreams of playing at the next level. Coach Jacob led the Mustangs winning a Blue Banner Sectional Title for the first time in school history.
A senior standout from Manteca High School in Manteca, California, Coach Marci has been a 4-year varsity player for the girl's basketball teams. She started playing in the AAU circuit in 6th grade and has won multiple awards since then. During high school, Coach Marci has been awarded Defensive Player of the Year, Most Valuable Player of the Year, Coaches Award, and an All-League First Team two years in a row. Coach Marci brings a winning culture and attitude to the academy and loves to share her knowledge, love, and passion for the game with the youth. Her goals are to continue to grow as a player and coach and help the youth pursue their dreams of playing at the highest level. Coach Marci returns home after one year at Utah Valley to continue her playing career at Delta College.
Coach Elijah was born in Hayward, California. As part of Coach P and Coach Rob's boy's basketball team at Lathrop High School, Coach Elijah has won the league in back-to-back seasons and was named 2nd Team All-League. Coach Elijah is currently attending Delta College majoring in Child Development. His goal is to play and coach at the collegiate level. Coach Elijah brings positive energy and leadership to PSA WC and will look to focus on youth development. Coach Elijah will continue his playing career at Delta College.
Coach Jesus is a self-taught basketball player who was born and raised in Lathrop, California. He Is currently a coach for Lathrop Elementary’s 6th-8th grade team. He is a varsity guard at Lathrop High School and finished his senior year receiving the Coaches Player of the Year award. Coach Jesus is a young coach who has a bright personality and is very good with all levels of players. Also known as "Chusey," Coach brings a positive voice for the kids and is a great role model and communicator. He plans to pursue a career in broadcasting for sports and entertainment.
Coach Jordan is a highly dedicated basketball coach and trainer. He has a passion for helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and mindset. Coach Jordan played 3 years for the boy's basketball team at Enochs High School and is now an Athletic Training student at Modesto Junior College. Since 2021, Coach Jordan has made a significant impact alongside Coach P at Grind Season Athletics, creating personalized training programs and fostering a supportive environment for aspiring basketball players. Coach Jordan has aspirations to coach and train at the highest levels and is fueled by his belief that by uplifting athletes, he can contribute to the future excellence of the sport.
